Covington—Golda M. Stoup, 72, formerly of Covington, died Monday, March 20, 1989 in Xenia, Ohio.
  She was born Dec. 29, 1916 in Grant County, Ind., the daughter of Charles and Mary Furnish. She ws married to Charles “Tobe” Stoup, who preceded her in death in 1986.

  Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jim Sparks, Fairborn, Ohio, with whom she made her home, and Mary and Mike Thompson, Marion; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Ruth Montgomery, Upland, and Ronald and Fran Montgomery, Van Buren; s sister, Dorotha Atkinson, Upland; three brothers, Delbert Furnish, Jonesboro; Alfred Furnish, Gas City, and Charles “Ed” Furnish, Marion; 10 grandchildren, Jody, Keith and Bobby Sparks; Dawn, Michael Jr., Justin and Raelene Montgomery; Susan and Bradley Thompson, and Debbie Bobson, and five great gradchildren.

  Funeral services were at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Burcham Funeral Home, Fairborn, Ohio, with the Rev. Bill Rudd officiating. Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lower Mound Cemetery, Covington. – thanks to S
